height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...High pressure will build in
from the W today. The high pressure center will remain to the W
tonight through Wed night, then move NW of the waters Thu and Thu
night. A high pressure ridge will persist to the W Fri and Fri
night. A cold front will reach the NW waters today, then push E
across the northern California waters and move inland tonight. A
coastal trough will develop along the southern California coast
tonight, then extend north Tue. The trough will strengthen Tue
into Thu night along California coast, then weaken Fri into Fri
night. Please be advised that the USCG remote communications
facility at Cambria is experiencing technical difficulties.
Technicians are aware of the problem. We apologize for any
