RECORD BREAKING SNOWFALL AT THE ERIE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

THE TOTAL SNOWFALL FOR DECEMBER 25TH WAS 34 INCHES WHICH IS THE
HIGHEST RECORDED FOR THE 25TH. THE PREVIOUS RECORD WAS 8.1 INCHES
SET 2002.

THE 34 INCHES IS ALSO A NEW ALL TIME SNOWFALL RECORD FOR ANY ONE
DAY. THE PREVIOUS RECORD WAS 20 INCHES SET ON NOVEMBER 22, 1956.

THE MONTHLY TOTAL OF 73 INCHES BECOMES THE MOST SNOW FOR DECEMBER
THE PREVIOUS RECORD WAS 66.9 INCHES SET 1989.
