5 Day Ice Discussion...

High pressure from Southern Canada to the Great Plains will build east
across the Great Lakes Thursday and Friday as low pressure moves off the
New England coast. East of the high center, look for north to northwest
flow 15 to 25 knots. Winds will diminish closer to the high center. The
high will move east of the Great Lakes Monday. Winds on the western lakes
will turn south to southwest 15 to 20 knots while the central and eastern
lakes will see south to southeast flow 5 to 15 knots.

Ice coverage will continue to diminish through the weekend and into next
week.
