Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Scattered cumulus and cirrus clouds were observed across the Tri-
State area early this afternoon. 2 PM MDT (3 PM CDT) temperatures
range from 57 degrees southwest of Seibert, Colorado as well as
Stratton, Colorado and Tribune, Kansas to 67 degrees in Colby,
Oakley, Grainfield, Kansas. Southwest winds were gusting up to 23
mph in Yuma and 21 mph in Burlington.


OUTLOOK... Light southerly winds this evening will switch to the
northwest overnight at 10 to 15 mph. Under increasing cloudiness,
low temperatures will be in the lower to upper 30s. Breezy
northerly winds return Wednesday and Wednesday evening with gusts
up to 35 mph. High temperatures are forecast to be in the upper
50s to upper 60s. Spotty light rain showers are possible during
the day as well. Sunshine returns on Thursday with high
temperatures in the 60 to 65 degree range. Breezy northwest winds
continue east of Highway 25 during the day.
