Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 15Z, or 8 AM PDT, a 1034 mb high was 1200 NM
WSW of Point Conception and a 998 MB low near Las Vegas. Widespread
strong winds and large seas will continue into Monday. A moist and
unstable airmass will also bring a slight chance of thunderstorms to
the coastal waters today.
