...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT JONES...SOUTHEASTERN LENOIR...
ONSLOW AND SOUTHEASTERN DUPLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 630 AM EDT...

At 534 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Catherine Lake, or near Half Moon, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Jacksonville, New River Station, Pumpkin Center, Piney Green, Half
Moon, Camp Lejeune Center, Phillips Crossroads, Richlands, Maysville,
Catherine Lake, Kellum, Midway Park, Verona, Comfort, Belgrade,
Petersburg, Pleasant Hill, Wyse Fork, Albert J Ellis Airport, and
Richlands South.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
