height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A cold front moving SE across
the waters will weaken and dissipate tonight. High pressure will
persist to the W of the area tonight into Tue night. A coastal
low pressure trough will develop and slowly strengthen tonight
through early Wed, then will slowly weaken Wed night. A weakening
low pressure area will pass N of the waters Mon night and Tue. A
high pressure ridge will move E over the northern waters Wed, and
then remain over the N waters Wed night into Fri night. Please be
advised that the USCG remote communications facility at Cambria
is experiencing technical difficulties. Technicians are aware of
the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience.
