5 AM PDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Seas 6 to 9 ft at 13 seconds and north winds 15 to 25
  kt with gusts up to 30 kt expected.

* WHERE...Inner Coastal Waters from Cape Shoalwater to Florence
  out 10 NM.

* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 5 AM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM PDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Rough bar conditions expected. Strong ebb current of 6.27
  kt at 753 AM Friday. Seas 7 to 8 ft. North winds 10 to 20 kt
  with gusts up to 25 kt expected.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...Until 2 AM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft,
  especially when operating near to, or attempting to cross, the
  Columbia River Bar.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...GENERAL SEAS...4 to 5 ft building to 6 to 7
  ft Saturday morning. Strong ebb current of 6.27 kt at 753 AM
  Friday. Seas 7 to 8 ft. Ebb current of 3.13 kt at 826 PM Friday.
  Seas 6 to 7 ft. Ebb current of 5.56 kt at 841 AM Saturday. Seas
  7 to 8 ft. North winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt
  expected after 1 PM this afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wave conditions are expected to
be hazardous to small craft in the vicinity of the Columbia River
Bar. Mariners are advised to obtain the latest bar conditions
from the United States Coast Guard before attempting to cross the
bar.
