...HEAVY RAIN SHOWERS WITH ISOLATED EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE
ACROSS CLAYTOR LAKE AREA THROUGH 500 PM edt...

At 417 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of heavy rain
showers with isolated embedded thunderstorms from Slyvatus to Dublin
to Claytor Lake, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Occasional Cloud-to-ground lightning. Locally heavy
         rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...This activity will impact Claytor Lake and surrounding
         areas.  If on the lake, move off the lake and to a place of
         safe shelter immediately. You do not want to be caught on
         the lake during a thunderstorm.  Motorists driving through
         this region will encounter areas of very heavy rainfall and
         minor poor drainage flooding and ponding of water.

and Sylvatus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If on Claytor Lake, move off the lake immediately and seek a place
of shelter indoors as quickly as possible.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Locally heavy rain will quickly reduce visibility and result in
ponding of water on roadways, standing water in low lying areas, and
minor flooding of creeks, streams, and areas of poor drainage.
Drivers are urged to slow down and use extra caution to avoid
hydroplaning.

Occasional cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
