Mount Rainier Recreational Forecast
National Weather Service Seattle WA
357 AM PDT Tue May 21 2024

.SYNOPSIS...A frontal system and trailing upper trough will lead
to cooler and wet conditions across Western Washington Tuesday

warmer weather on Thursday before another trough arrives Friday
into Saturday for a return of cooler, unsettled conditions. A
trend toward drier weather and more seasonable temperatures is
possible early next week.

&&

.IMPACTS...Stormy weather will create difficult backcountry

terrain of Mt. Rainier, including the Muir snowfield. Blizzard-

including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and camping in
these conditions.
