The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  The island of Molokai in Maui County

* Until 900 PM HST.

* At 544 PM HST, radar indicated heavy showers with rain rates of up
  to 1 inch per hour moving over central and east Molokai. Water
  levels in Kawela Gulch are already high, and additional runoff
  will likely lead to flash flooding over the area.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding in drainages, streams, rivers, roads,
           properties, and other low-lying areas. Public road
           closures possible in some areas. Landslides are
           possible in steep terrain.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Kawela, Kalaupapa National Park, Kaunakakai, Kamalo, Kualapuu,
  Ualapue, Hoolehua, Pukoo, Halawa Valley and Molokai Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, rivers, drainage ditches, and culverts, even
if they are currently dry.

This warning may need to be extended beyond 900 PM HST if flooding
persists.
