of precipitation the past 24 hours, 0.76 inches forecast in the next
48 hours, and snowmelt...

Safety message:  Never drive cars, trucks, or sport utility vehicles
through flooded areas.  The water may be too deep to allow for safe
passage.

  Meramec River near Sullivan.
* At 7PM Thursday the stage was 3.7 feet.
* No flooding is currently forecast.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* The river is forecast to rise to near 10.5 feet Sunday early
  afternoon.
* At 11.0 feet...Right Bank begins to overflow flooding wooded
areas.
