.DISCUSSION...
Isolated showers and storms over the high terrain of western and
northern NM this afternoon will generate localized gusty and erratic
winds. A southwest breeze prevails across most of the area the next
couple of days as temperatures climb well-above average. A backdoor
front enters from the northeast tomorrow afternoon, increasing
moisture and dropping temps slightly. Winds trend stronger mid-week,
creating widespread critical fire weather conditions Thursday. Gusty
west winds may keep critical fire weather conditions around in
eastern NM Friday into the weekend.
