.SYNOPSIS FOR PUERTO RICO AND THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS WATERS...
Moderate to locally fresh winds will create choppy seas across local
waters over the next several days, promoting hazardous conditions for
small craft. Hence, Small Craft Advisories are in effect for the
Atlantic Offshore Waters from this evening and the Anegada Passage
from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening. Afternoon
thunderstorms may impact coastal waters and local passages,
particularly over western Puerto Rico and the Mona Passage each day.
Showers and thunderstorm chances increase on through Thursday with
the passage of tropical waves. Saharan dust is expected to return by
Thursday.
