...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Localized elevated fire weather conditions continue across the
elevated terrain above the marine layer. Poor overnight recoveries
between 15% to 35% and poor daytime humidity humidity retention
between 10% to 25% continue above 2000 feet in elevation Thursday
and Friday. Conditions improve slightly over the weekend with
overnight recoveries increasing to 30% to 40%. Good overnight
recoveries and poor to fair daytime humidity retention between 30%
to 50% continue below 2000 ft. Hot, dry conditions continue through
this weekend and into next week with highs in the 80s to upper 90s.
Diurnally breezy winds are expected along the coast and across
mountain gaps/passes (Salinas Valley, Altamont Pass) with gusts to
around 25 mph expected.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Offshore flow over the area is expected to bring some dry air and
breezy northeast winds to the higher terrain overnight and into
Friday morning especially in Humboldt and Del Norte counties. The
hottest temperatures will start in the south on Friday and work
their way north on Saturday and Sunday. Some relief in the
temperatures is possible early next week, but it is generally
expected to remain hot. Winds are generally expected to be light
and terrain driven aside from the offshore winds in the mornings.
