688 FNUS63 KABR 200840 RFDABR Rangeland Fire Danger Statement National Weather Service Aberdeen SD 340 AM CDT Sun Jul 20 2025 .DISCUSSION... There is a conditional risk of thunderstorms this afternoon through tonight. Highest confidence (40 to 60 percent) in development is over northeastern South Dakota this evening into tonight, with lower confidence (20 to 40 percent) over central South Dakota. Thunderstorm threat continues over the next couple of days, with a 30 to 60 percent chance for storms across the forecast area Monday and Tuesday evenings. Highs today will be in the upper 70s to low 80s over north central and northeastern South Dakota, and into the mid to upper 80s over central South Dakota. High moisture content in the atmosphere will keep minimum relative humidity values above 50 percent across the forecast area. Winds will be out of the southeast through tonight at 15 to 20 miles per hour, gusting to 25 miles per hour. However strong to severe storms could produce higher wind gusts, potentially up to 60 miles per hour.
