.Warm temperatures are leading to rapid snowmelt along and near the
Tanana River including the Rosie Creek subdivision.

...FLOOD ADVISORY FOR SNOWMELT REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 AM AKDT
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt continues.

* WHERE...Tanana River near Rosie Creek Subdivision.

* WHEN...Until 945 AM AKDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...As of Friday morning, water was encroaching on some
  roads in the Rosie Creek neighborhood. Residents should be aware
  of rising groundwater levels and move belongings to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2 AM AKDT, Groundwater levels in the Rosie Creek
    neighborhood are high due to snowmelt and high river levels
    on the Tanana.  Ground water will stay high or increase with
    the Tanana over the next week.
  - For Tanana River at Fairbanks:
    At 1:15am the stage was 25.24 feet.
    Flood Stage is 24.5 feet.

  prepared to take action.
