At 1106 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Palmeto State Park, or 7 miles west of Gonzales, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Gonzales, Flatonia, Moulton, Waelder, Muldoon, Palmeto State Park, Komensky, Henkhaus, Moravia, Oak Forest, Newtonville, Elm Grove, Engle, Nickle, Cost, Dilworth, Floy, Little New York, Thompsonville, and Ottine.
