...Preliminary Storm Survey today for the Area Near Groesbeck in
Limestone County and near Dew in Freestone County...

The National Weather Service office in Fort Worth TX will conduct
a storm survey today for the area near Groesbeck in Limestone
County, Texas and the area near Dew in Freestone County, TX. The
survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved
through the area on April 29, 2024.

An assessment including results of the survey are expected to be
completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement later
this evening. We are assessing the need for additional storm
surveys in relation to yesterday`s storms.

A major contribution to the success of our severe weather warning
program is the receipt of storm reports from all of our customers
and partners. If you witnessed or are aware of any storm damage
due to high winds or tornadoes, please contact your local
emergency management office or send us pictures at:
sr-fwd.webmaster@noaa.gov.
