This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A few strong to marginally severe thunderstorms are possible through
this evening over far southeast Kansas. The main risks will be dime
to quarter size hail and 50 to 60 mph wind gusts.

Pockets of areal flooding and areas of river flooding are ongoing
over southeast Kansas, due to excessive runoff from Sunday`s very
heavy rainfall. Any additional rainfall through the evening will
only aggravate these ongoing flooding concerns.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Strong south winds may fuel very high grassfire danger over central
Kansas Tuesday afternoon.

Periodic thunderstorm chances return to the region from Tuesday
afternoon through Thursday evening. Strong to severe thunderstorms
are possible, along with additional heavy rainfall and localized
flooding. Stay tuned, as we continue to refine the forecast the next
few days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
