.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 215 PM CDT Tue Mar 26 2024

Tonight and Tomorrow...

The forecast for the short term period remains the same with no
major modifications made to the overall forecast. Global guidance
continues to show a 993 mb sfc low continuing to push northeast
towards the Great Lake into southern Canada. This will allow for the
cold front to push drier air further east into our forecast area
later this evening. Heading into tonight, a 1020mb surface high will
build into our CWA from our northwest. This sfc high will keep skies
clear through the overnight period allowing for radiational cooling
to occur. Because of this, overnight lows will dip into the mid 40s
across the area. Quiet conditions will occur tomorrow as the sfc
high continues to build across the southeast US. Expect afternoon
temperatures to peak in the 60s across the area. /CR/

Wednesday night through early next week...

Quiet conditions are expected to persist through the week as high
pressure moves into the region. Temperatures will warm to normal
ranges. Expect mid to upper 60s through Thursday...then warming
into the 70s and low 80s by the weekend. The next chance of rain
looks to be sometime early next week. /MJH/
