This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

Additional heavy rain is possible today across portions of
western and north central Nebraska, with around one inch of
additional rainfall in places. A Flood Watch remains in effect
for portions of southwest Nebraska and the southern panhandle.

A Flood Warning is in effect for the North Platte River upstream
of Lake McConaughy and near North Platte, where the river is
expected to reach minor flood stage later today.

A few thunderstorms are possible, but no severe weather is
expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

Scattered thunderstorm chances will exist for much of the upcoming
week. A few severe storms are possible, and later forecast
information will better pinpoint impacted locations and timing.

Spotter activation is not expected today.
