This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

The combination of warm temperatures, dry air, and breezy south winds
at times will lead to elevated to near critical fire weather
conditions this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Fire weather concerns continue over the weekend into early next
week. At this time, marginal winds preclude the threat of any fire
weather headlines Saturday and Sunday.

A stronger storm system will move into the area beginning Monday,
bringing strong winds and the threat for precipitation to the area.
At this time, confidence remains low in details surrounding both
precipitation amounts and the location of dry air and greatest fire
weather concerns. Continue to monitor later forecasts for the latest
information.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
