The areas affected include... Chesapeake Bay from Pooles Island to Sandy Point MD... Chesapeake Bay north of Pooles Island MD... Chester River to Queenstown MD... Eastern Bay... Patapsco River including Baltimore Harbor... At 529 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a line of showers and thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These showers and thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 29 nm northwest of Gunpowder River to 24 nm west of Middle River, moving east at 35 knots. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes.
