...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN BUTLER...CENTRAL
MONROE...SOUTHERN CRENSHAW...NORTHEASTERN ESCAMBIA...CONECUH AND
COVINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 430 AM CDT...

At 326 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Monroeville to 3 miles northeast of I65
And AL 113 to 4 miles northeast of Bratt. Movement was east at 60
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Andalusia, Monroeville, Opp, Evergreen, Frisco City, Peterman,
Brantley, McKenzie, River Falls, Castleberry, Excel, Red Level,
Dozier, Repton, Heath, Gantt, Glenwood, I65 And US 84, and I65 And AL
113.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for
south central Alabama.
