Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
351 AM MDT Thu May 9 2024

.Discussion...

Critical fire weather conditions are not expected through the next
seven days. Widespread rain and snow chances are likely for today
through Sunday, with cooler temperatures and weaker winds during
that timeframe as well.

Though temperature look to warm back up to near normal to start out
next week, we`ll continue to see increased moisture and daily
chances for showers across portions of the area. Current thinking is
that this pattern will stave off fire weather concerns for a time.

Afternoon smoke dispersion rates will vary greatly across the
district today, and are expected to be poor for many zones tomorrow.
Please see specific zone forecasts below for more details.

Afternoon smoke dispersion rates will be excellent both today and
tomorrow.
