...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN WAYNE...SOUTHERN
EDGECOMBE AND EASTERN WILSON COUNTIES THROUGH 615 PM EDT...

At 526 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 12 miles southeast of Elm City to 6 miles west
of Farmville to near Jason. Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Goldsboro, Fremont, Walnut Creek, Princeville, Pinetops,
Stantonsburg, Pikeville, Macclesfield, Saratoga, and Conetoe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
