This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms possible mainly over the
coastal waters north Puerto Rico and over the west, central and
east interior of Puerto Rico in the afternoon. Be aware of
thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Marine Conditions...Small craft should exercise caution mainly across
the offshore Atlantic waters.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone particularly along the northwest through northeast
facing beaches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Moderate to locally fresh east north east winds will maintain choppy
seas through most of the period. Life- threatening rip currents
will remain possible mainly along the north and east facing beaches.
A lingering upper level trough and weak surface trough will maintain
unstable and elevated moisture levels across the region through the
end of the workweek. This will likely trigger late morning and afternoon
showers with isolated thunderstorms each day. Therefore ponding of
water on roads and poor drainage areas and isolated urban and small
stream flooding will remain possible through at least Friday.
