...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

A PACIFIC SYSTEM ALONG THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA COAST WILL MOVE OVER
THE GREAT BASIN AND MOJAVE DESERT TODAY-FRIDAY. THE SYSTEM WILL
PRODUCE UNSETTLED WEATHER IN THE FORM OF SCATTERED SHOWERS ALONG
WITH INCREASING WINDS. CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL BE
HAMPERED SOMEWHAT BY HUMIDITY VALUES GENERALLY REMAINING ABOVE
15 PERCENT...ESPECIALLY IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS. LESS WIND AND
WARMER TEMPERATURES OVER THE WEEKEND.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING INLAND THROUGH CALIFORNIA WILL BRING
COOLING AND STRONG GUSTY WEST WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS
THROUGH TONIGHT. THERE IS ALSO A CHANCE OF LIGHT SHOWERS ALONG AND
WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS TODAY. DRY, WARMER, AND LIGHTER WINDS FOR
FRIDAY INTO NEXT WEEKEND. SLOW COOLING WITH STRONGER ONSHORE FLOW
MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

A VIGOROUS UPPER LEVEL LOW WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA THURSDAY INTO
FRIDAY BRINGING COOLER HIGH TEMPERATURES AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS AS
WELL AS INCREASING HUMIDITY. GUSTY WEST WINDS THURSDAY WILL RESULT
IN PATCHY BLOWING DUST OVER THE LOWER DESERTS, AND PEAK GUSTS OVER
FAVORED AREAS SUCH AS HIGHER TERRAIN OF FAR SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA
AND SOUTHERN GILA COUNTY WILL EXCEED 35 MPH AT TIMES. HUMIDITY
WILL REMAIN LOW ENOUGH OVER THE CENTRAL DESERTS AND SOUTHERN GILA
COUNTY TO RESULT IN DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THURSDAY
AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. MUCH LESS WIND IS EXPECTED FRIDAY.
HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL COOL INTO THE UPPER 70S FRIDAY OVER
PORTIONS OF SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA.
