.DISCUSSION...
An upper level low pressure system is moving through the area this
morning and will settle into Nevada this afternoon through Sunday. A
deep marine layer will keep conditions around the fire fairly cool
and moist, with a small chance of very light precipitation. Weak
southeast winds this morning will turn south to southwest this
afternoon with wind speeds that are fairly typical for this time of
the year. Lower levels will see similar conditions tonight into
Sunday as today, with a cool and moist marine layer. The higher
hills of the Verdugo Mountains however should experience weak
northerly flow later tonight with humidities lowering into the 40
percent range...but moderately confident that such conditions will
stay at elevations above the fire.
