for Friday, however, the overall air mass remains very moist. The
ridge will help with lighter winds, but the moist air mass will
help fuel isolated thunderstorms and showers in the afternoon,
despite the ridge being in place.

  Chance of rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
