FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 29.7 inches over the Mid-Atlantic
will lift to southern Quebec tonight and deepen to 29.5 inches as
it does. Meanwhile, high pressure of 30.1 inches will build across
the western Great Lakes tonight. Following this, low pressure of
29.7 inches will cross eastward over southern Ontario during
Thursday, steering a cold front across the lake that night. A
second low pressure of 29.8 inches will move across the southern
part of the lake Friday night steering another cold front through.
High pressure of 30.2 inches will then build over the Great Lakes
for the weekend.

.TODAY...North winds to 30 kt diminishing to 15 to 25 kt by early
afternoon, and to 10 to 20 kt by mid afternoon. Waves 6 to 9 ft
occasionally to 11 ft subsiding to 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8
ft by early afternoon, and 3 to 5 ft by late day.
.TONIGHT...North winds 10 to 15 kt becoming variable less than 10
kt, then becoming southwest 10 to 15 kt after midnight. Waves 2
to 4 ft subsiding to 1 to 3 ft.
.THURSDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 20 kt increasing to 15 to
25 kt in the afternoon. Waves building to 3 to 5 ft.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 25 kt becoming north.
Chance of rain and snow showers in the evening, then chance of
rain showers overnight. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt backing to southwest 10 to
15 kt. Chance of rain showers in the afternoon. Waves subsiding
to 2 to 4 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 15 kt increasing to 10 to
20 kt. Waves 2 to 4 ft.
