Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
An upper disturbance will keep the threat of thunderstorms in the
forecast through the next several days. A nearly stationary
surface trough over the central waters will dissipate Monday.
High pressure will build NE of the area early next week as a
surface trough forms to the NW. A trough will develop by midweek,
keeping chances of thunderstorms in the forecast.
