Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
740 PM EDT Mon Apr 23 2018

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

Low pressure will track across the southern Appalachians tonight
and up the eastern seaboard Tuesday into Wednesday. Periods of
rain, moderate at times, will overspread the region during this
time. In general, this will be a soaking, beneficial rain,
although totals exceeding 2 inches could occur along and east of
the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia.

High pressure will return briefly on Thursday, but another low
pressure system developing along the southeast coast may affect
the region late in the week.
