...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT PORTAGE...GEAUGA...NORTHEASTERN
CUYAHOGA...SOUTHERN LAKE AND NORTHEASTERN SUMMIT COUNTIES THROUGH 700
PM EDT...

At 612 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Cleveland Heights to Macedonia to near
Akron. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cleveland, Akron, Willowick, Ravenna, Chardon, Cuyahoga Falls,
Euclid, Mentor, Cleveland Heights, Kent, Solon, Willoughby, Hudson,
Twinsburg, Eastlake, Tallmadge, Streetsboro, Warrensville Heights,
Macedonia, and South Russell.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for northeastern
Ohio. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until midnight EDT for
northeastern Ohio.
