This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Day 1 Discussion
----------------

Currently seeing areas of moderate rainfall along with frequent
lightning, gusty winds up to 30 mph, and small hail around pea
sized. Another round of storms expected later this morning and
early afternoon along the I-70 corridor with the main concerns
being gusty winds up to 30 mph and small pea sized hail. No other
hazards are forecasted at this time.

* Non-thunderstorm wind: Limited risk
* Fire weather: Limited risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Days 2-7 Discussion
-------------------

No hazards expected for Sunday, but will see a return to
thunderstorm activity Monday through Friday with frequent
lightning during this time along with chances of quarter sized
hail and damaging wind up to 60 mph under the right conditions
each afternoon. Fire weather risk will be elevated Wednesday
through Friday behind a dryline with relative humidity values
close to 20 percent and wind gusts up to 30 mph for the western
tier of counties in the CWA.
