This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
south central Kansas, southwest Kansas, and west central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions will exist this
afternoon south of the Arkansas River.

There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms across Barber
and Pratt counties late today and early this evening. Main hazards
will be 1 to 2 inch hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

There will be an enhanced risk for severe thunderstorms on
Wednesday east of highway 83. The main hazard will be hail larger
than 2" and strong gusty winds. An isolated tornado can not be
ruled out.

There will be a chance for showers and thunderstorms almost each
day from Thursday through Sunday. The best day for convection will
be Friday night and Sunday night.
