...HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH LATE TUESDAY NIGHT...
* TIMING...From Tuesday afternoon through late Tuesday night.
* WINDS...Sustained northwest winds of 35-45 mph with some wind
gusts as high as 60 mph.
* IMPACTS...Occasional power interruption will also be possible.
Travel could become hazardous where there are strong cross
winds, especially around grain elevators. Areas of blowing
dust Tuesday will also occur over open agriculture fields
creating highly variable visibility.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A High Wind Watch means there is the potential for a hazardous
high wind event. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph...or gusts of
58 mph or stronger may occur. Continue to monitor the latest
forecasts.
