This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Low relative humidity will lead to near-critical fire weather
conditions through early this evening. Lake effect snow showers
along the South Shore will continue to lead to winter driving
conditions along Highway 2 through the morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A large winter storm will impact the Northland with heavy snow
and strong winds late Sunday through Tuesday. Travel conditions
will be treacherous. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Waves larger than 4 feet will affect the Outer Apostles tonight. A
short Small Craft Advisory is in effect for this period.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Strong easterly winds will develop as a large winter storm moves
through the region from Sunday into Tuesday. Gale force northeast
winds are possible Sunday and Monday. A Gale Watch is in effect.
