Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Michigan
National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac MI
350 PM EDT Mon Apr 15 2024
.DISCUSSION...High pressure will expand across Lower Michigan today
and provide dry conditions. Minimum RH values are forecast to near
30 percent this afternoon in many locations as temperatures warm
into the mid to upper 60s. This high will move to the east on
Tuesday. A warm front associated with a low pressure system over the
Midwest will bring the next chance for rain Tuesday night. Showers
and a chance of thunderstorms are then expected on Wednesday as the
low pressure system lifts across the northern Great Lakes and drives
a cold front across southern Michigan.
