Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
212 AM CDT Tue Apr 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Winds will increase out of the SW today, becoming gusty at times
between 15-20 kts, with Min RH values dropping to between 30-35
percent and mixing heights climbing to 4.5 kft. Winds will become
lighter on Wednesday, but with higher mixing heights dispersion values
will still be generally good. All in all given the dry and warmer
conditions this week, fuels will continue to dry out.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog will be possible
early this morning, mainly in the vicinity of large water
sources.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None at this time.
