A weak cold front is pushing across the region, and a few showers
and storms have festered for much of the day across eastern Kansas
into much of Missouri. Afternoon temperatures are in the 60s and
70s across central plains this afternoon. Tonight, storm chances
should gradually come to an end, and tonight`s lows will be in the
40s and 50s across the region.

For Friday, much of the region will be dry through the early
afternoon hours. However, a cold front will begin to sweep across
Mid-America, and thunderstorms are expected to accompany this
front Friday evening into the nighttime hours as it progresses
across the region. Friday afternoon`s highs will generally be in
the 70s while overnight lows will range from the mid 30s across
northeast Colorado and western Nebraska to the low 60s across
southeast Kansas and southern Missouri.
