.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 246 PM CDT Tue Mar 26 2024

Tonight will be cold again with lows in the mid 20s to low 30s. THe
nights will get warmer starting tomorrow night. Currently, it looks
that the overnight temperatures for Sunday night will be range from
low to upper 50s. Highs tomorrow will be slightly cooler in the mid
40s to low 50s, but will begin to warm back up Thursday. Saturday
there is a 40% chance of seeing 70 degree highs for areas south of I-
72 on Saturday.

The next chance for rain and thunderstorms comes on Friday. There is
a 40-50% chance for precipitation for central Illinois, north of I-
72. After Friday, there is another potentially impressive system to
move through early next week. It will bring thunderstorms and rain,
but the precipitation amounts aren`t too high. We are keeping an eye
on the system, as it could bring some stronger thunderstorms with
it. The newest 12z GFS run depicts it not being as impressive, but
will continue to monitor the potential.
