...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN CHRISTIAN COUNTY
THROUGH 700 PM CDT...

At 630 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Morrisonville, or 11 miles northwest of Nokomis, moving east at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Taylorville, Morrisonville, Palmer, and Taylorville Municipal
Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
