...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT FORREST AND SOUTHEASTERN LAMAR
COUNTIES THROUGH 215 AM CDT...

At 125 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Moselle to near Oak Grove to Baxterville.
Movement was east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hattiesburg, Petal, Purvis, Lumberton, Rawls Springs, Brooklyn,
Sunrise, Macedonia, Maxie, McLaurin, Rock Hill, and Corinth.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for
southeastern Mississippi.
