This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are expected this
afternoon across western and southwest Nebraska, due to a
combination of low relative humidities and strong northwesterly
winds with gusts of 45 miles per hour or greater.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening over
north central Nebraska. A few storms may be strong to briefly severe
with large hail and damaging winds. The main area of concern for
severe storms is along and east of Highway 183.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Additional rain and thunderstorms are likely Wednesday evening
through early Thursday morning. A few storms may again become strong
to briefly severe with the main concerns being isolated hail up to
one inch in diameter, damaging winds, and locally heavy rainfall. The
main area of concern is south of a line from Grant to North Platte
to Broken Bow.

Thunderstorms are possible Friday night and again on Sunday night
across portions of the area. At this time, the threat for severe
storms remains uncertain.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report any occurrences of hail or
