For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure will deepen to 28.80 inches as it lifts
northeast of Georgian Bay today. High end gales with sporadic
gusts to storms are expected this afternoon and evening over the
northern two-thirds of Lake Huron. Gales persist into Saturday
morning before weakening the latter half of the day as weak high
pressure, 29.90 inches, briefly builds into the region.

.REST OF TODAY...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to
35 knot gales increasing to 35 knot gales with gusts to 45 knot
gales. Showers. Waves 8 to 12 feet building to 10 to 14 feet late
in the afternoon. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.TONIGHT...Northwest at 35 knot gales decreasing to 20 to
25 knots. Gusts to 45 knot gales. A chance of showers in the
evening. Waves 10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots becoming west 15 to
20 knots early in the afternoon. Gusts to 35 knot gales. Waves
8 to 12 feet. Waves occasionally around 15 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southwest
5 to 10 knots in the late evening and early morning...then
backing to the southeast after midnight. A chance of showers in
the evening...then showers likely after midnight. Waves 4 to
6 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet in the late evening and
overnight. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
.SUNDAY...East winds 5 to 10 knots backing to the north late in
the morning...then becoming west 10 to 15 knots late in the
afternoon becoming northwest 5 to 10 knots late in the evening.
Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.MONDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots veering to the northeast in
the late evening and early morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TUESDAY...East winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots
with gusts to around 30 knots. A chance of showers until early
evening. Showers in the late evening and early morning. Waves
1 to 3 feet building to 4 to 6 feet. Waves occasionally around
8 feet.

the late morning and early afternoon...then backing to the east
until early morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TUESDAY...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots becoming east 10 to
15 knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then
increasing to 15 to 20 knots with gusts to around 30 knots until
early morning. A chance of showers in the late morning and early
afternoon. Rain showers likely until early morning. Waves 1 to
