.DISCUSSION...
A frontal system approaching the area this morning will enhance
southeasterly winds to near 20 knots in the outer waters. Small
craft headlines have been posted in the areas along and south of the
mouth of the Mississippi River mouth. Easterly winds of 10-15 knots
are expected to linger through the tidal lakes and sounds during the
day today. Brief slacking of winds are expected during frontal
passage in the afternoon wtih winds become westerly and then
offshore. Small craft headlines will be needed again tonight through
Sunday morning. Wind gusts could approach gale force in the coastal
waters, mainly during the morning on Saturday.
