.DISCUSSION...

Showers and thunderstorms will continue to slide east this afternoon
into overnight as a cold front passes through the region. By Friday
afternoon, most of the showers and thunderstorms will be to the
south and east of the St. Louis metropolitan area, and winds will be
blowing from the northeast. Multiple rounds of showers and
thunderstorms are expected through at least the middle of next week.
Temperatures will begin near average but will climb into the 80s
again early next week.
