...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN WASHINGTON...
PERRY...SOUTHERN WAYNE AND GREENE COUNTIES THROUGH 230 AM CDT...

At 140 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles northwest of Ovett to 4 miles east of
Macedonia to 4 miles northwest of McLaurin to near Purvis. Movement
was east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Chatom, Richton, Leakesville, Deer Park, Tibbie, Beaumont, New
Augusta, McLain, State Line, Buckatunna, and Fruitdale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for
southwestern Alabama...and southeastern Mississippi.
